Megan

Veterinary Technician

Megan joined the team in June 2018. She is an Orlando native, but also spent a few years working and living in Sarasota and Fort Myers. She has over 10 years of experience as a veterinary technician, and her specialties lie in emergency and critical care nursing – her favorite role is spending time with our hospitalized patients and caring for the pets recovering from procedures. She is currently working on receiving her certification as a technician from the state of Florida, and plans to pursue a technician specialty license in critical care.

As a self- proclaimed “cat lady”, Megan of course has three kitties to call her own – Ripley, Cirilla and Psy (which can either be short for psyduck or psycho depending on his mood). There is also Jackie, the basenji-corgi mix, who thinks he is a cat and loves his feline siblings.

In her spare time, Megan enjoys spending time with fiancé, Eric (a fellow veterinary technician and coworker!), playing video games, gardening, sewing, trying to emulate Gordon Ramsay recipes and reading.
